Smile Month Made More Environmentally Friendly At Woodcock Lane Dental Care

We have entered the second week of National Smile Month, organised by the charity Oral Health Foundation.  The catch phrase this year is Love Your Smile.

Obviously one way to love your smile is to look after it by brushing your teeth and gums, using a fluoride toothpaste; so why not treat your smile and yourself to a new toothbrush (or toothbrush head for an electric toothbrush)?   We would recommend that everyone replaces their toothbrush (or toothbrush head) every three months.  So, what to do with the waste that is generated by doing this?

We have the answer!  In conjunction with Philips Oral Health Care and Terra Cycle, we can recycle old toothbrushes, interdental brushes, water nozzles and floss containers.  Just bring your items to the practice and place them in the box on the coffee table in the hall and we will then send them to Terra Cycle who will ensure effective recycling takes place.

If you’d like any more information on any aspect of your smile; taking care of it, improving it, whitening it, restoring it, straightening your teeth, removing staining or replacing missing teeth please don’t hesitate to call us or speak to any member of our team.
