The Inman Aligner has become a well used method for aligning front teeth which are mild to moderately rotated, crooked, out of line or stick out or in. It is at least as fast at producing good quality results for adults and children for whom it is suitable as other types of tooth aligner. Its main advantage over other methods of aligning front teeth is that it is removable and does not need to be worn full time, only for about 20 hours per day.
The appliances can straighten upper and/or lower teeth where tooth removal is not needed to create space and as they are relatively invisible they are fairly well tolerated.
In Gloucestershire, there are a few orthodontic practitioners who provide tooth straightening using the Inman Aligner, of which we are one. We also use the more conventional fixed braces, be they of the steel or tooth-coloured type, including those placed on the lingual (inside) aspect of the teeth and clear aligner braces.
