Spring Cleaning Your Oral Hygiene Routine

With Spring just around the corner most of us feel much more motivated, so now is a good time to spring-clean your oral hygiene routine.

At Woodcock Lane Dental Care we have carefully selected a range of top quality, well-known brand toothbrushes, designed to meet everyone’s  individual needs.  All our “manual” toothbrushes are available at the very reasonable price of only £1.95.  We can even provide advice to help you choose from our selection.

Our cute animal automatic snap open/snap close tooth brush holders ensure hygienic storage of your toothbrush and will bring a smile to your children’s faces.  These fun but practical holders can be attached to tiles or mirrors, ensuring your toothbrush is easily available.

If you prefer to use an electric toothbrush we currently have a very good offer on Oral B Braun replacement heads; 3 for the price of 2, or even better, 4 for the price of 3.  Our hygienist or oral health educator can provide advice on which electric toothbrush would be best for you and by demonstrating techniques can help you get the most benefit from your electric toothbrush.

We always advise brushing your teeth and gums twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste.  To clean the tooth surfaces which a tooth brush is unable to get to (ie between the teeth, where they contact each other) we would usually recommend using a good quality dental tape (sometimes called floss) and/or interdental brushes.  We stock a large range of interdental cleaning aids and our staff are happy to discuss your individual requirements.  If you feel like treating your smile to a bit of extra “freshness” and “dazzle” why don’t you try our Janina Diamond toothpaste or visit Jackie our dental hygienist for that extra special clean and polish.

Pop into the Practice and see us.  Get the right advice and the right product to spring-clean your smile.  We can also provide information about a complete smile make-over if you wish to dazzle even further.
