Elaine’s News from Woodcock Lane Dental Care in Stonehouse
Elaine, David Lyons’ dental nurse, has great news she wishes to share with all our patients – she is pregnant. Her first child is due to make an appearance in August. We wish her all the very best and look forward to her new arrival. She has been getting into practice for being a mum by looking after her baby nephew!
Elaine, who lives in Stonehouse, joined Woodcock Lane Dental Care in 1999 as a trainee dental nurse. She passed the National Certificate for Dental Nurses and became registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Care Professional. She has spent most of her time at Woodcock Lane Dental Care as David’s dental nurse, although she has assisted on the reception desk and did spend some time nursing for Rob Salvin. Much of her day is spent at the chairside, greeting her patients with her happy, lovely smile and ensuring their comfort throughout treatment. “Behind the scenes” Elaine also keeps the surgery clean and ensures everything is sterilized to meet our very high standards of cross infection control.
Elaine’s good news does mean that she will be temporarily leaving us in July. In preparation for this we will soon be training our new dental nurse, Alex. We look forward to welcoming Alex to our highly trained team but we will be sad to see Elaine set off on her maternity leave. We will be very pleased to welcome Elaine back (baby safely delivered) in the future.
