{"id":235,"date":"2013-02-26T12:07:29","date_gmt":"2013-02-26T12:07:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.woodcocklanedentalcare.co.uk\/news\/?p=235"},"modified":"2013-03-12T11:55:03","modified_gmt":"2013-03-12T11:55:03","slug":"patients-poetry-dental-dames","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.woodcocklanedentalcare.co.uk\/news\/uncategorized\/patients-poetry-dental-dames\/","title":{"rendered":"Patient&#8217;s Poetry -&#8221; Dental Dames&#8221; by Mr S"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A talented patient shows his appreciation by putting pen to paper and writing us a poem:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The girls down at the dentists are all lovely or so it would seem,<br \/>\nBut I&#8217;m not quite sure their comments are what they really mean.<br \/>\nThe smile with which they greet you as you enter in the door,<br \/>\nIs enough to stop you in your tracks, and fixate you to the floor.<br \/>\nYou are instructed then to take a seat in a lovely cosy room,<br \/>\nAnd with their radiant smiles you sit and wait the outcome of your doom.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s not long before the nurse appears from a room across the way,<br \/>\nAnd comments on the weather&#8230;&#8230;.isn&#8217;t it a lovely day.<br \/>\nThe dozen steps across that room is more like twenty miles,<br \/>\nAnd the girls all seated at their desks watch you go all full of smiles.<br \/>\nWhen the treatment&#8217;s done and over, you stagger out on shaky pins,<br \/>\nAnd the smiles are there to greet you&#8230;&#8230;.or should I say the grins.<br \/>\nThey know the way you&#8217;re feeling, yet still portray a smiling face,<br \/>\nWhen the last thing one could manage is that of style and grace.<br \/>\nFrom then the action of these ladies is like the dentist&#8217;s drill,<br \/>\nStill smiling&#8230;&#8230;full of beauty&#8230;&#8230;they hand to you the bill!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A talented patient shows his appreciation by putting pen to paper and writing us a poem:- The girls down at the dentists are all lovely or so it would seem, But I&#8217;m not quite sure their comments are what they really mean.
